Returns Policy

Non faulty goods

  • Special order, Custom size, made to measure or any standard product that we have adjusted at your request will not be accepted for return under any circumstances. This does not affect your statutory rights relating to mis-described or faulty goods.
  • Framework Joinery will accept returns of non-faulty (standard) goods if we are notified in writing within 7 days of delivery and/or collection. Emails accepted to info@frameworkjoinery.com
  • If Goods are to be returned for any reason other than manufacturing defects or damage, you will need to return the goods (including all original wrapping, Packaging & labels) back to us, securely packaged, and in the same condition with which they were received.
  • Returns are to be made at the customer’s own cost, via customers own chosen courier making sure that goods are insured for transit. Any goods that are damaged in transit to our premises will not be accepted and it will be the customer’s responsibility to deal with any dispute with their chosen carrier.
  • In certain circumstances we may be able to arrange collection of the goods on one of our own vehicles however a handling charge will be levied to this and deducted from any refund. This charge is determined on an individual order basis and will be pointed out at the time of notification of the return.
  • For non-faulty (standard non bespoke) goods a Re stocking charge of 25% of the returned goods will be levied against the customer’s invoices when goods are returned to stock that have been correctly supplied as per the customer’s invoice. No refund shall be given for the delivery charge element of the subsequent returned goods.
  • If returning Non faulty goods you are reminded it’s your responsibility to take good care of them, storing them appropriately and not using them for any purpose. This includes all the original packaging & wrapping.
  • If you have returned the goods to us in a condition which indicates that they have been installed or attempted to be installed after you have had reasonable chance to inspect them we will consider you to be in breach of your legal duty to take reasonable care of the goods and reserve the right to recover appropriate costs from you.
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of any returned goods.

Faulty or damaged goods

  • Upon Receipt All goods must be inspected for any defects in accordance with our delivery policy & reported to Framework Joinery. You must notify us in writing within 24 hours of receipt. Email info@frameworkjoinery.com
  • Once reported we may ask for photographic evidence to expedite the returns process.
  • Once damaged or faulty goods have been reported and agreed, we will endeavour to organise replacement goods to be delivered and the faulty products collected.
  • We do not accept the return of goods as damaged, or faulty following installation or attempted installation unless the damage/fault was not ascertainable until after installation.
  • If you have returned the goods to us in a condition which indicates that they have been installed or attempted to be installed after you have had reasonable chance to inspect them we will consider you to be in breach of your legal duty to take reasonable care of the goods and reserve the right to recover appropriate costs from you.
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of any returned goods.
